Stump Pass Beach State Park

Go left at Beach Road in Englewood, and you will end up at Stump Pass Beach State Park, where the big question is: Will you hit the lottery and win one of the 64 coveted $2 parking spaces? If all you want is a lazy day on a lovely beach, Stump Pass is just about as good as it gets. Because of limited parking, the beach never seems to get crowded. It's quiet enough to read your beach book. Oh, and have you never found any shark's teeth? You will at Stump Pass. The 245 acre park consists of three islands and the protected channels between them.
