That's precisely why people love this pristine stretch of powdery sand at the north end of Anna Maria Island. To reach it, go north on Gulf Drive in the city of Anna Maria. Park in the small public lot by City Hall and the Island Players, or in a handful of spaces in beach accesses on several residential streets.
